There are many ways to use the math thinking cards. The cards were designed to help kids to do mental math in their head while having them use some deeper thinking skills. They are also good for students to read and answer on their own for extra math practice.

• One set has the answer right on the card in case you want to read them orally to class and not cut them apart.
• Use as sheets of paper without cutting apart for class activities or math journals.
• There is another set that can be used to cut apart and put on a ring or just use as cards at a math work station.

What Prep is Needed for the Math Thinking Cards?

• Copy cards on Card Stock.
• Cut apart, laminate and put on a ring.
• Use for quick filler when you have a few spare minutes for Mental Math practice.
